Among the 26 projects there is a stand out architectural design building, which will take shape on a prime location on Abu Dhabi island, the Corniche. Some 26 new development projects have been approved by the Urban Planning Council, or UPC, in Abu Dhabi emirate in the second quarter of the year. When completed, the new constructions will cover a total gross area of 2,327,073 square metres.
This mixed-use tower has been designed with a five-storey podium that has three 24-storey towers emerging over it. The irregular L-shaped profile of the plot has enabled the three towers to be positioned diagonally so as to achieve maximum views of the Abu Dhabi Corniche from the high-end residential apartment.
On Abu Dhabi island, two residential tower building projects were approved and each one has 24 storeys over it.
There were a few projects have been approved on Abu Dhabi mainland including Burjeel Medical City project a 300-bed specialty hospital in Mohammed Bin Zayed City.
