If you or your company is preparing for a business trip to other countries from Abu Dhabi, Dubai or anywhere in United Arab Emirates you will often need to apply for a Business Visa from the concerned Embassy or Consulate here in the UAE.
Business visas are granted for a limited time period and for business trips only to conduct business activities which can include consulting with business associates, participate in an educational forum, professional training, a scientific conference or a business conference – essentially for a business meeting and a specific event or purpose. You can also travel to negotiate or settle a contract with a concerned company. Normally you cannot travel to undertake paid work.
A business visa stamp or label endorsed by the relevant Embassy or Consulate is required in your passport to enable you to travel to that country for this purpose.
Often an invitation letter is required by the company or government organisation in the concerned country and you will often be required to clarify the reasons for travelling to the country with your relevant position and potentially your qualifications.
