Faraz Ahmed - HR Consultant
Faraz is currently a HR Consultant based out of the UAE, helping drive the HR Consulting service line across the GCC region, with a primary focus on the UAE market. In this role, Faraz works closely with both new and existing clients across a wide range of industries, jurisdictions, and business structures, supporting them with practical, commercially focused HR solutions. His responsibilities span the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, goal setting, HR function setup, policy development, compliance, and broader people strategy.
With over 10 years of HR experience in the region, Faraz has supported organisations with everything from building HR departments from the ground up to strengthening existing people frameworks in line with local requirements and best practice. As part of his wider role within the team, he also helps introduce clients to the broader suite of services offered by Sovereign PPG, including company formation, payroll, accounting and bookkeeping, corporate secretarial support, and other business solutions that complement their people and operational needs.
Faraz’s academic background is in law in the UK, with a focus on contract and commercial law, before transitioning into HR in the UAE. He is a CIPD Level 5 qualified and currently pursuing his CIPD Level 7, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development and to delivering high quality, practical support to businesses operating across the region.
