Nabil Khoury

Nabil Khoury is a seasoned legal, tax, and corporate services professional originally from Syria, living and working in the Kingdom of Bahrain since 2004. A native Arabic speaker, Nabil earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Damascus in 2008. He later obtained a Postgraduate Degree in International Business Law from the United Kingdom in 2018, followed by an LL.M. in International Tax, Wealth & Risk Management from Texas A&M University, USA, in 2020.

Nabil has served as the Managing Partner of Sovereign Trust Consultancy (Bahrain) W.L.L. since 2011. In addition to his role in Bahrain, he is also a Director overseeing the Group’s operations in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. With extensive regional experience, Nabil is responsible for managing and developing the Group’s activities across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia (Eastern Province), Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, and Lebanon.

Nabil regularly counsels clients on regulatory frameworks and cross-border structuring, ensuring compliant and commercially sound solutions. He also actively participates in regional conferences, forums, and exhibitions, contributing insights on legal, regulatory, and wealth structuring developments across the GCC and the wider Middle East.

Beyond his professional practice, Nabil serves as the Middle East Ambassador for the Group’s charitable arm, the Sovereign Art Foundation. Since 2014, he has been actively involved in supporting and promoting charitable initiatives focused on serving children in need across the Middle East, reflecting his long-standing commitment to social responsibility and community impact.
