Arun Gurung

Arun Gurung is an ACCA-qualified Accountant, a member of the UAE Accountants and Auditors Association, and an MBA graduate. He brings extensive experience managing finance functions for multinational companies across trading, distribution, consultancy, and professional services sectors.

After completing his education and building his career in the UK, Arun relocated to the UAE and joined Sovereign Group’s Dubai office in 2015. He has since played a key role in expanding the firm’s accounting and outsourcing services across multiple jurisdictions, contributing significantly to revenue growth within the client accounting division for the Group.

Arun leads a high-performing team managing a diverse client portfolio, from startups to publicly listed companies, and has been actively involved in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction support.

He works closely with senior leadership and the Chief Financial Officer to drive business performance, deliver strategic financial insights, and support group-wide financial planning and decision-making.
