Federal ministries and departments will be closed on Thursday 16^th July and resuming on Tuesday 21^st July

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has issued a circular announcing the holiday for federal ministries and departments will begin on Thursday, July 16.

Work will resume on Tuesday, July 21.

Public sector workers will be getting their wages early on Tuesday July 14, in preparation for the end of Ramadan.

The festival of Eid Al Fitr, the Festival of fast breaking, marks the end of Ramadan.

The official moon sighting committee, the body responsible for overseeing the sighting of the crescent moon, which marks the end of the Islamic holy month, will officially announce the first day of Eid Al Fitr later this week.
