eDNRD becomes mandatory in Dubai

What is eDNRD?

Online Visa application system in Dubai eDNRD becomes mandatory in Dubai from 1st September 2015.

In line with the directive from the Government of United Arab Emirates to move towards online Smart Services all Companies and Establishments must now use eDNRD for the delivery of all applications for resident visas and work permits, including renewals.  Physical paper application will not be accepted.

This brings Dubai in line with the FAWRI system in Abu Dhabi.

eDNRD stands for e-government Directorate of Nationalisation and Residency Department.

All companies in Dubai must use the eDNRD system instead of the previous eForm system for residency issuance and renewal application, any eForm application will be rejected starting from 01/09/2015

Documents required for using the service:

  • Copy of the establishment card
  • Copy of the passport of the authorized signatory
  • Copy of the e – gate card
  • Completed application in Arabic and English
  • Open an account using the e–wallet system (Noqodi)
