Jonathan Kelly

With over half a decade of experience in the UAE and close to a decade across financial services, Jonathan Kelly specialises in company structuring and market entry across the UAE. Jonathan is a Business Development Manager at Sovereign PPG, based in Dubai, but with multiple years’ experience in Abu Dhabi. Jonathan advises entrepreneurs, SMEs, and multinational organisations on establishing and scaling their presence across UAE mainland authorities and Free Zone jurisdictions such as ADGM and DIFC. His role spans the full client lifecycle—from initial strategy and structuring through to execution and business continuity, ensuring clients receive clear, commercially focused guidance when navigating the region’s regulatory landscape.

Within the wider group, Jonathan works closely with senior leadership and cross-border specialists to deliver coordinated, multi-jurisdictional solutions. He plays an active role in driving regional growth, managing key client relationships, and developing a strong ecosystem of referral partners, including corporate service providers, law firms, government entities, and international embassies. Known for his relationship-driven approach, he focuses on building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that consistently generate value for clients and stakeholders.

Originally from Ireland, Jonathan brings an international perspective shaped by experience across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Prior to joining Sovereign PPG, he worked with PwC and gained experience in banking, offshore finance, and business recovery services, developing a strong foundation in international regulations, KYC/AML, and financial operations. He holds a business-related degree and has built a proven track record of supporting companies across sectors including energy, technology, healthcare, and consulting as they successfully establish and expand within the GCC.
