Oman have introduced a new 2 year Partner Visa. The Oman Partner visa is type of business visa in Oman, specifically designed to enable eligible foreign entrepreneurs and investors to base themselves within the Sultanate of Oman to set up and run a business venture.

Documents required for Oman Partner Visa

The 2 year Oman Partner Visa required the below mentioned documents:

Commercial Registration (CR)

Municipality License (ML)

Tenancy Agreement

Investors License*

Passport Copy

Passport size photograph (6X4) cm

*Note: The company will need to have and submit their Investor Licence. The Investor Licence is a separate licence that needs to be applied for, after the CR and ML are set up. The Investor Licence is required in order to apply for the Partner Visa.

Up to 4 shareholders of the Oman entity are eligible to apply for the 2-year Partner Visa assuming each shareholder holds at least 25%.

As specified above, in order to obtain a Partner Visa in Oman it is first required for the individual to be able to provide the Investors Licence as part of the visa application.

Visa and Labour Permits: If you plan to hire expatriate staff, you'll need to apply for appropriate employment visas and labor permits. The Partner Visa is a business visa in Oman. At this stage, assuming you have received the Investor License, you can apply for the Partner Visa (if eligible).
